The complaints board

Regulations governing the holiday homes lettings complaints board. The Board of Appeal is composed of the Trade Association of Renters of Holiday Homes and the Danish Consumer Council.

The Board of Appeal deals with complaints from tenants against letting agencies concerning tenants’ residence and renting of holiday homes.

The Board of Appeal solely deals with a complaint if you have approached the rental agency at first, and the approach did not result in a satisfactory solution for you.
Furthermore, Complaints shall be delivered within a term of 6 months from the time at which the circumstance that is the object of the complaint could be established.

When the complaint form is submitted, a fee is to be paid in order to cover the treatment of the complaint. The fee will be refunded if your claims are completely or partially sustained. The fee is 40 €.
